Shipping policy

1. Worldwide shipping
Designer Stories ships worldwide. Shipping availability and the applicable shipping costs are shown during checkout.

Orders above EUR 1,000 to eligible European destinations are shipped free of charge. For other orders, shipping costs are calculated and displayed during checkout.

2. Processing time
Orders are generally dispatched within 1-2 business days after payment has been received. Orders placed during weekends or public holidays are processed on the next business day.

If additional payment verification or order verification is reasonably required, dispatch may take longer. We will contact you where necessary.

3. Carriers
Depending on the destination and the value of the order, we may use carriers such as PostNL, DHL, UPS or FedEx.

4. Tracking
After dispatch, you will automatically receive tracking information by email where available. Please monitor the shipment and contact us promptly if the tracking information shows an unexpected issue.

5. Secure shipping
Packages are shipped securely. The shipping method is selected based on factors such as destination, value and carrier availability.

6. Delivery estimates
Delivery estimates are indicative and are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed otherwise. International deliveries generally take approximately 4-7 business days after dispatch, but delivery times may vary by destination.

Delays may occur due to carriers, customs authorities, public holidays, force majeure events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

7. Customs duties and import taxes
Orders delivered outside the European Union may be subject to import duties, customs charges, local taxes or other fees. These costs are the responsibility of the customer unless mandatory local law provides otherwise. Please check the applicable rules in your destination country before ordering.

Customs processing may cause additional delays.

8. Risk during delivery
For consumer orders, Designer Stories bears the risk of loss or damage until the order is received by the consumer or by a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, subject to applicable law.

9. Collection by appointment
Collection from Designer Stories may be possible by appointment only. Please contact us to arrange an appointment.
